DORM GIRLS!

Although, of course, we don’t have any pictures, so I’ll just post these instead.. they’re from the cast party.. and I won’t elaborate and say much about it, but I let me tell you: Controversies surrounded the cast party of ANP and ALOT of things happened during AND after the party.. BUT..The cast party is MUCH MORE TAME than the happenings inside the dorm. ;) HAHAHAHA

I know that some people might think that this is a bit shallow, but I consider this as a great achievement. The stakes weren’t high and the competition wasn’t that cut-through, never the less I still feel special for winning 1st runner-up out of 12 contestants!

I’m proud that I was able to represent my elective and of course, our moderator, Mrs. Bronilla who is currently ill. It has always been my dream to join a pageant, so winning this was not only for my class, but for my self as well!

Oh and, I crossed out something from my bucket list on this day: to perform a LEGALLY BLONDE number in from of the student body!

This year, I started completing competitively in sports again. 2011’s different though, cause its my first time to complete for Track & Field! Never in my 4 year stay in High School did I ever think of joining a sport other than gymnastics and cheerleading.

Honestly, I never thought I was physically capable of joining this sport because I lack endurance and stamina (which was a big factor, and this is my downfall in gymnastics aswell) But what I lack in talent, I made sure I kick-fired with perseverance. And YEY it worked! HAHAHA

Paprisa, the first competition where I won my FIRST LEGIT MEDAL IN TRACK AND FIELD! A silver in Javellin, A silver in Shotput and Bronze medal for 200m.

Of course, along the way, I also learned to love and cherish my dearest teammates. Again, I never expected this. I never expected to be friends with such fun and wonderful people (if EVER anyone of you is reading this… please don’t tell the rest of the team). My ego’s about to die, but I love these people.

Lie of the Mind. (October 6,7,13,14,20 & 21 2011)

I’ve said this countless times and I’m going to say it again. This is my last performance as a theater actor. As of this moment, I have no plans of pursuing theater in College,  so as of this moment, Lie of the mind really IS my last performance.

But I’m happy and contented. With the success we achieved and all the praises we got and… still getting. I’m really thankful. This is the best way to end my senior year. Best way to end my acting career.

So much as happened after LOTM. Its aftermath, still happening until now. So much changes, but good changes, occurred because of LOTM. I could not be anymore thankful for all the wonderful things Lie of the Mind has done to my life.

To my co-actors, my Director, OUR Director & to our audience: Viva Teatro!

Naturally, I thought of PROM first. Prom is still special to me even after everything that happened, because I was really looking forward to it ever since I was a little girl. Indeed, it was a dream come true for me.

Crazy thing about prom is that my dress was only made a day before prom! The tailor finished it 1 pm of the PROM day itself! I find that so “project runway” don’t you agree?

Anyway, I felt like a legit princess in my gold gown, with matching yellow corsage given by my date, Edwin! Honestly, things din’t turn-out the way I thought it would, but I really enjoyed the night, and that’s what matters the most, really.

I’d redo it again if I can.
